Flu and Fever

    When I came to Canada seven months ago, I had the fever and the flu. I had them for two weeks. In that time I used many kinds of antibiotics, but they didn't help me to get better. One of my friends told me that I have to take ginger with honey that I have to mix them inside a cup of hot water; therefore, I used it twice a day for five days; after that, I felt much better, and the fever and flu left my body.                              

 After couple of weeks, I have realized that, the flu and the fever caused the weather difference between my country and Canada. What I mean is the temperature. When I left my country the temperature was +10, when I arrived in Canada the temperature was-10. I have never been in cold before, and a big shock to my body. Finally, I recommend anybody has fever or flu to use ginger with honey inside a cup of hot water. Jeff this is a final blog I have to make peace with somebody, I think you know what I mean. 

                                                

Notting Hill

 

       In my whole life, I have read many books adopted movies. On of them was Notting Hill. In fact, Notting Hill was fantastic. It has many interesting character. Also, it was combined between romance and comedy. The main character in this move was William. William was a very nice actor, and was romantic. because of these reasons, I like William.

 

I recommend this move to any guy who feels like there is no chance for love in his life. It would give him hope.
On the other hand, there was one thing I didn't like the attitude of Anna Scott's boyfriend.

All in all I consider Notting Hill to be a great book with a great ending.

Hi Fly Guy

    

      When I was a child I had read a lot of stories. I remember one of them was Hi Fly Guy. It was talking about one boy and a fly. The boy found the fly when he was walking outside. Then, he caught the fly in a jar that he had it. The fly was mad because he wanted to be free. The boy was surprised. He said, "you know my name! After that the boy brought the fly to his parents. Suddenly, they told him that the fly isn't pet, but  he thought that the fly is a pet. Also, he named the fly "Fly Guy". After couple of days the boy took Fly Guy to an amazing pet show. The judges laughed " Flies can not be pets," they said. The boy was sad "flies can not be pets," he said. Because Fly Guy liked the boy, he did some fancy flying. The judges were more amazed. Lastly, Fly Guy flew high, high into the sky! Then he dived down, down into the jar. " The fly knows his jar! " the judges said. Because of that, the judges let Fly Guy in the show.



All in all, this story taught me to be patient. Also, that ambition is very important.

my favorite season



     In fact, I'm afraid of the winter in Calgary. I haven't been here in winter time because I'm new in Calgary. Therefore, I bought heavy clothes, and some medicine. Unfortunately, there aren't other warm cities in Canada to spend a few days.

In my country, my favorite season is spring. In this season, specially there are many landscapes. Also, the weather is very wonderful in this season. I usually go visit many landscapes. Most people in Saudi Arabia spend a fantastic time outside their house. For example, go on trips, go camping, and many other activities. Also, another important reason I enjoy spring is because of my 50 camels; they can eat grass in this season because it doesn't exist in any season except the spring. All and all, I like my camels a lot; when they feel happy, I feel happy too.

Finally, the spring season is my favorite season. I hope to you visit us in this time except one person I think you know who is this person. lol

Crime

     When I compare Calgary and other cities in the world, I think Calgary is a safer city. I have been in Calgary for six months. I just have heard a few victims in this city. For example, one homeless person stole my friend's bag down town three months ago. Also, one person was driving recklessly, and he hit somebody; they were walking outside.

My hometown is safer than Calgary for several reasons, First of all, we don't have homeless people. Also, we can sleep outside without any problems from anybody.

When I want to protect my self from crime, I can do many things. For example, I have to follow the systems in any country I live in. Moreover, I have to avoid dangerous places. Also, I should be cooperative with my neighbors against offenders.

Hallween

my favorite holiday

      In Canada, there are many holidays. one of them (my favotite) is Halloween. Halloween is one of the oldest holidays still celebrated today. Also, it is one of the most popular holidays second only to christmas.

It was a religious holiday, but now it is mostly a day for fun and parties. there are many activities on this day for exmple, children dress up and go door to door getting canday. Also, many adults have a party, and some people go to work wearing a costume. Moreover many families decorate their houses and yards. In fact, I like these holiday. By the way in two weeks on October 31,2010 it will be Halloween. I am sure that Jeff will have a party on that day and he will invite us to his house. Thank you Jeff, we won't be late.

     In fact there are many things in my brain I would like to do it. first of all, I would like to help poor people. We know so people in the world for example, in India. India still has the world's largest number of poor people in a single country. Nearly 38% of India's population is poor. They don't have anything to eat and have no place to live. We all can help poor people because $1 will make a difference.

Also, I would like to buy a ferrari car. It is my favorite car and it is expensive car. It exists just with wealthy people in the world.

Moreover, I like to take an around the world trip. I know this is a difficult task, but I will try because it was my dream when I was a child.
